The homepage of https://learndigital.dev/ is meeting most of the accessible standards when it comes to cognitive load, such as grouping, chunking, anchors, consistency and grid. I do not agree that it meets the hierarchy, where I think the content is in a misplaced order downwards the site. This is a minor accessibility problem. When it comes to language usage, I think the homepage is on-spot, with understandable, relevant and short text. Use of colors is also good, with both use of hue and tonal value. The only problem I can point out here is that the coloring on some of the titles may lead the readers to think that is a link, even when it’s not. This is a minor problem, I would say. The typography is also consistent, easy to read, and has good spacing.
Perceivable: score 4
The homepage is easy to perceive, I would say. It has nice contrast in colors, and the font and font size is good. However, the colors are not customizable, and there is no text-to-speech tool.
Understandable: score 5
The page is intuitive and easy to understand. Language is understandable and simple, and there are no long text passages.
Operable: score 5
All functions are fully accessible and easy to use! THe titles are clear, as well as clear text description to images and graphics.
Robust: score 5
The site is semantic HTML, and is accessible through both Chrome and Safari.
Responsiveness: score 5
I would say that the responsiveness to the website and homepage is very good, both in Safari, Chrome and on mobile devices (iOS). I did not experience any problem on any of the devices or browsers.
